My partner and I were coming back from dinner when I recorded this display of people-trash making public trash.
Walking back from dinner, we had already passed two separate areas of homeless people, each camped out around Victoria and Manners streets.
Before I snapped this tirade between three homeless, or whatever people these are, publicly drinking on the streets and yelling at some other rando up the road, I and everyone else in the area, had already listened to the woman warble about how much money she could make on the streets each night.
And then this… a video put together that I’d like to call Trash Town…
I tried to get a shot of the guy also yelling down the road, but the camera work didn’t work out well. So, I’ve subbed it out for a few still happy-snaps of the surrounding area, on Willis Street.
A friend, recently back from London, described Wellington as “Shabby”. I think it’s much MUCH worse than that.
