Last week, I wasn’t feeling that great on Monday, so I took the afternoon off sick. Of course, with a new electric toy, my first idea was how do I connect it to my computer 🙂
A few years ago, I brought one of these so I could connect my electric guitar to my laptop. It came with a licence for this software at the time, which I played around with, but didn’t really do much.
But feeling sick, I was also feeling creative so I checked out what else came with the software and found this:

Every since, I’ve had a ball learning about tones, chords, keys, scales and the fundamentals of songwriting. And having a drum kit that can emulate different musical instruments has been an absolute because I’m a better drummer than guitarist or keyboard player.
Here’s my first go: everything here is me, not sequences, not touched up to be in sequence and in time.
I’ve got some way to go before I knock Paul McCartney out of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (he’s in there twice!), but this is just my first attempt. 🙂👍
